Rivers Lounge opens in Newcastle

Opened on September 15 at Green Lane, Baltic Road, Gateshead NE10 0SB, Rivers Lounge brought together distinguished members of business, academia and civil society. The ceremony, attended by around 200 guests, began with a ribbon-cutting accompanied by prayers.

 

Doors Opened with Prayers
Bringing a new dimension to Newcastle’s social and cultural scene, Rivers Lounge Restaurant officially opened on September 15 at Green Lane, Baltic Road, Gateshead NE10 0SB.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony, accompanied by prayers, was attended by Şahin Gülmen, Elif Gülmen, President of MÜSİAD Newcastle, Businessman Rıfat Bober ZEST I/O – Software Solutions CEO’su Zeynel Badak, Prof. Dr. Yusuf Aryıcı, Lecturer and Investigative Journalist Hülya Özkoyuncu, Businessman Hüseyin Zahmacoğlu, Businessman Burak Gülmen, Businessman Bekir Eroğlu, and as the host of the event, Ferit Özdemir, Raziye Özdemir Real Estate Consultant of Alp Homes Group and Owner of Rivers Lounge.

 

200 Guests, One Prestigious Gathering
Approximately 200 distinguished guests attended the ceremony, representing Newcastle’s business, academic, and community circles. The event featured refined tastes of Mediterranean and Italian cuisine, presented with elegance in a sophisticated atmosphere.

Delivering the opening speech, Ferit Özdemir expressed his vision with the following words:

An Inspiring Leader: Ferit Özdemir
Settling in the UK in 2012, Ferit Özdemir quickly established himself in the business world after completing his language studies. As the founder and CIO of Alp Homes Group Ltd, he created a prestigious brand offering renovation, property sales, lettings, and investment consultancy.

In recent years, Özdemir has extended his vision into the world of gastronomy and fine dining with the River Lounge investment, combining his innovative perspective with refined flavors and an elegant atmosphere.

Through his contributions to society, investments in Turkey, and active role in civil initiatives, Özdemir is recognized not only as a business leader but also as a figure shaping the future with his sense of responsibility and vision. He is married to Raziye Özdemir and is the proud father of two children, Alp and Arda Özdemir.
