The Crypto Fear & Greed Index suggests market indecision, indicating that broader macroeconomic factors continue to weigh on sentiment. Short-term price movements could remain range-bound as market participants await clearer indications or additional catalysts.
At the same time, the Fed’s hawkish stance and Powell’s opposition to a rush for monetary policy easing could continue to put pressure on risky assets. As a result, the outlook for the crypto market remains cautious.
Meanwhile, Metaplanet’s acquisition of 269 BTC, worth JPY 4 billion, brings its total holdings to 2,031 BTC. Metaplanet plans to acquire 21,000 BTC by 2026.
