Cappadocia Restaurant Chef Required

Job Description:
We are looking to recruit a full-time experienced Chef at our Turkish restaurant based in Bath, England. We the role would include planning and preparing and oversee the preparation of food at the restaurant.
Academic Requirements / Experience:
Qualifications are not essential but will be preferred. We would prefer experience working within a Restaurant preparing and cooking traditional Turkish cuisine, they must work well will others and have experience cooking Turkish specialities, they must be able to butcher and carve meat and fish and be familiar with the Turkish grills and pan cooking techniques.
Tasks Required by This Job Include:
• Requisitions or purchases and examinations of ingredients from suppliers to ensure quality;
• Plans menus, prepares, butcher, marinate and grill / pan cook traditional Turkish food and oversees their preparation and monitors the quality of finished dishes;
• To supervises, organises and instructs kitchen staff and managing the grill department of the kitchen;
• Ensures relevant hygiene and health and safety standards are maintained within the kitchen;
• Plans and co-ordinates kitchen work such as fetching, clearing and cleaning of equipment and utensils.
